1. We start off by laminating standard poster board - color of your choice.
2. Then I take my trusty Swingline and staple around three of the edges, leaving an opening on one of the long sides.
3. The next step is the most important. Line duct tape or clear packaging tape over the stapled edges to cover the staples to prevent snags and it also keeps smaller pieces from slipping through the spaces between the staples. I usually go over the edges with two layers of tape. Trim the edges of the tape even to the poster board for a nice clean edge.
4. Then for the fun part - labeling! You can do this prior to laminating the poster board or add the label later with contact paper. I usually keep the label from the bulletin board packaging because it shows all the pieces - especially if it is something I intend to keep together. Another option is to take a photo of your completed bulletin board showing how it is displayed and affix to the label making it a snap to remember how to re-assemble each time you use it.
5. I then, keep them filed in *storage boxes and save the *clear vinyl organizers for transporting back and forth between home and church.
6. Another tip: For those especially small pieces or die cut letters I staple a gallon size Ziploc bag inside making a smaller pocket.
