Moving Day!

We are officially in our brand new building!  It has been a whirlwind of events moving from one location to another.  It is always a great encouragement to see so many members come together working for the glory of God.  We are so thankful to be in the new building and pray that we will use this facility as an instrument to bring many to Christ.

Unfortunately I failed to take any before pictures of my classroom to show all the wonderful blank wall space! We are just giddy with the wall space and the teaching possibilities!

We first tackled all of the blank walls by deciding furniture arrangements and the placement of the magnetic dry erase board we will be getting soon. Then it was on to the really exciting stuff!

I put up my timeline first because it is a teaching tool I find invaluable and find it really helps the students "visualize" events in order.   I had searched and searched for the past year for the "perfect" timeline and ended up purchasing two different ones to see which one I liked best.  There were things I liked about both so I merged them together and added some of my own text.  If interested in purchasing one for your classroom you can find them here > Bible Class Workshop and here> Shaping Hearts for God.  Each piece is backed on poster board and laminated.

Each panel is hung with Command velcro strips.  I've just recently discovered these and they are wonderfully easy to attach without hurting your walls.  The velcro also allow a little wiggle room to make some minor adjustments to make sure each panel is completely level and straight.  :)

Next post I will share what we did for bulletin boards!

  1. I love this timeline! I think it looks wonderful against the black color.
