Worksheets with a twist

We saw this idea at a recent workshop that we attended.  We decided that this would be a perfect way to begin the class as the students come in.  We enlarged various activity sheets on 11x17 colored tagboard and laminated them.  (We enlarged the worksheets at 130% and trimmed it slightly before laminating)  We use this as a pre-class activity. This is a great way to review previous bible stories and allows the students to be occupied while the teacher(s) visit with the children, or greet new visitors etc.  In order for the worksheets to be used again and again, write on them with vis-a-vis pens and the sheets simply wipe clean with a damp paper towel or baby wipe.  Our 3rd graders really enjoyed this pre-class activity.
I will share how we set up our answer key in a future post.
